Rose Petal is one of the few complete beauty centers on Bali's southern coast — hair, facials, lashes and brows, nails, waxing, and advanced body treatments, all in one place. Every service is delivered by internationally trained specialists using premium, clean formulas. Between appointments, you're welcome to unwind in our lounge with a specialty coffee or cocktail, catch the sunset from our terrace, or settle into a co-working space with fast Wi-Fi.
Our signature creative blond, built as a multi-process result. Bond-builders mixed into the lift, then toning to define the final cool ash, silver, champagne or icy platinum, and a root melt to soften the new growth line. Designed so it's wearable as it grows out, not just on the day.
Hand-painted highlights — from the French balayer, "to sweep." Worked freehand, no foils, no caps, no neat rows. The blend between natural root and lightened lengths should be imperceptible: smooth gradation is not a feature of balayage, it is the entire point. Toner finish, deep conditioning, blow-dry.
Selected strands lightened in foil, the foil reflecting heat back into the strand for cleaner lift. Babylight-style fine sectioning when the brief is soft, diffuse brightness rather than distinct streaks — colour that reads as genuinely natural up close. Toned to shift the lifted yellow-orange into cool ash or warm champagne.
A standalone tonal refresh. Shifts lifted hair from yellow-orange toward cool ash, warm honey or soft caramel — and corrects brassiness on existing colour. Semi-permanent chemistry coats the cuticle rather than penetrating the cortex, so it fades gradually. Booked proactively in Bali, where UV and salt accelerate brassy shifts. Recommended every 4–6 weeks alongside lighter services.
One uniform colour, root to tip, in a single oxidative application — developer opens the cuticle, pigment enters the cortex, larger molecules form and lock inside the shaft. Best for grey coverage, for shifting overall tone, or for refreshing faded colour. Custom-mixed to your shade. Pricing varies by length and density — confirmed at consult.
Targeted re-application to the new growth zone, before a visible line of demarcation forms between regrowth and existing colour. Refresh windows in Bali shorten because UV pushes any tonal shift faster — book between full colour services to keep the result clean.
Full lightening to your target shade — soft sunkissed, cool ash, or icy blonde. Hair is taken to level 9 or 10, the only base that holds silver, ash or pastel tones. Bond-builders are added to the bleach mix; this is not optional. Dark bases are lifted across multiple sessions with rest periods rather than forced in one pass — the alternative is hair that breaks mid-shaft.
Colour work beyond standard balayage or highlights — money piece, face frame, dimensional brunette, vivids, foilyage. Multiple processes run simultaneously, each with different formulations, timings and physical applications managed in parallel. Bring a reference image or mood; pricing tiers by complexity (creative, hard, extra hard) and hair length.
A reset for the scalp and lengths. Low-pH, deposit-only chemistry that strips product residue, mineral deposits and chlorine — without further lifting and without stripping colour. Extends the life of a colour result without adding chemical stress to the hair. Recommended monthly, or after a long beach stretch.
A sealing treatment, not a straightening treatment — the distinction matters. A keratin–amino acid complex is applied section by section to clarified hair, dwelled, blow-dried, then heat-activated with a flat iron at around 230°C. Bonds to the cuticle and resists atmospheric moisture uptake — built for the Bukit's wet-season humidity. Lasts 3–5 months. The 72-hour rule applies after: no water, no clips, no ties — we'll explain at booking.
Milbon's in-salon protein and bond intervention. Works at a different level of the hair structure than retail products, restoring tensile strength and resetting the protein/moisture balance after multiple chemical steps, beach exposure, or heavy heat work. Visible difference after one session; best results across 3–4 over a month.
Milbon clarifying scalp protocol — removes product residue, mineral deposits from salt or hard water, and silicone buildup. The layer that otherwise blocks bonding for keratin and treatment work. Particularly relevant for Uluwatu's regular ocean swimmers. Sets a clean foundation: keratin applied over buildup bonds to the buildup, not the hair.
Milbon's keratin-infused deep conditioning protocol. Applied with gentle heat — a warm towel wrapped around the hair accelerates penetration. Restores moisture stripped by humidity-driven cuticle swelling, UV, and salt's effect on the lipid layer that coats healthy hair. Recommended every 4–6 weeks for full-time Bali residents.
Milbon Smartbond-based smoothing for unruly or humidity-prone hair. Targets the disulphide bonds disrupted by oxidative processing and UV, while sealing the cuticle against moisture uptake. Especially indicated 2–4 weeks after a full bleach, where it complements a keratin treatment by reinforcing the protein structure underneath the cuticle seal.
Express conditioning treatment combined with a scalp massage — wash, mask, scalp work, blow-out. A reset between full colour or treatment appointments, for clients who only need to refresh moisture and scalp condition rather than rebuild structure.
In-salon gloss treatment. Deposits colour molecules onto the lightened shaft to refine the final shade and add reflective finish, without the lifting stress of a full re-colour. Our preferred move at the 6–8 week mark in Bali, when toner can fade significantly on clients who swim, surf and spend time outdoors regularly.
Wash and professional blow-dry — double cleanse, scalp massage, conditioner, and a styled finish. Choose smooth, voluminous, or tousled. As a finish on a colour service it shows the full result in its best light; booked alone, it's the freshest possible version of your everyday look.
Blow-dry built specifically for curly and wavy hair. Diffuser-led, defined, anti-frizz finish — worked with the wave or curl pattern rather than smoothed out, so the result holds in Bali's humidity rather than collapsing within minutes of leaving the salon. Tell us your curl pattern at booking so we prep the right products.
Hot tool styling — sleek straight, soft curls, or beachy waves. Heat protectant first, always; passes are slow and systematic, not rushed. On colour-treated or porous hair we keep frequency low, because repeated heat compounds with UV-driven protein loss.
Removes braids carefully — released strand by strand to keep tension off the roots and avoid snapping ends. Includes scalp wash and detangle. Worth booking ahead of a cut, treatment or colour service if you've worn braids for a while. 30 minutes.
A full redesign appointment with our senior stylists. Consultation-led: face shape, hair texture, growth direction, and lifestyle drive the cut. The reference image is a starting point — the stylist translates it through the lens of your specific hair and face. Technique matched to the result: blunt for architectural edges, point cutting for softness, slide and texturising for internal weight, layering for movement.
Layered shape designed for movement and softness around the face. Layering treated as weight distribution, not decoration — long layers add movement to wavy and curly hair, short layers frame the face and add crown volume. Adjusted for the climate: more layering on wave to support the pattern when moisture-swollen, softer perimeter on anything frizz-prone.
Our flagship cut. Consultation, face shape analysis, and execution calibrated to how the hair will behave a week later in Uluwatu humidity, not just on the day in the chair. Softer perimeters on frizz-prone hair, more interior weight removal on dense hair — adjustments for the tropics built in.
A maintenance service, not a redesign — clean perimeter and end refresh to remove split ends and over-processed tips. Sometimes the strategic first step on hair that's been lightened repeatedly, before any further chemical work can be attempted. Recommended every 6–8 weeks.
Same principles as the women's cut — consultation, face shape, texture, and lifestyle — executed differently. At shorter lengths, growth pattern matters more: cowlicks, double crowns, and hairline recession are technical inputs. Clipper and fade work applies the same judgment as scissor work.
Cuts for children up to 12. The same consultation-led, face-shape-aware approach as our adult services, scaled to a child's hair and the practical realities of how it will move and grow. Soft point-cut finishes over architectural blunt edges, on the principle that the cut should look right with minimal daily effort.
Radio-frequency body sculpting. Electromagnetic energy heats the dermis to a precise 40–45°C window — existing collagen fibres physically tighten for an immediate firmness effect, while fibroblasts are activated to synthesise new collagen and elastin over the following weeks. Includes a manual smoothing massage. Pre and post measurements every session. Often paired with fat freezing — collagen contraction on the layer above as the fat layer thins below. Best in courses of 6–10 sessions.
EMS body sculpting — electrical stimulation triggers involuntary supramaximal muscle contractions that exceed what voluntary effort can generate. Same adaptive response as hard training: fibre hypertrophy, mitochondrial density, neuromuscular activation. Non-invasive, no downtime. Typically sequenced with fat reduction so reduced volume above reveals the denser muscle built underneath. Most clients book in courses of 4–8.
Cryolipolysis. A handheld applicator draws subcutaneous tissue in with gentle suction and cools it to between -9°C and -11°C — adipocyte lipids crystallise at a higher temperature than skin, nerve, blood vessel and muscle. Cells undergo apoptosis (programmed, inflammation-free) and clear naturally over 8–12 weeks. Includes the immediate post-treatment manual massage shown in studies to improve efficacy by up to 68%. Visible result usually after one session; hydrate well before and after.
RF facial lifting and tightening. Bipolar radiofrequency generates molecular friction in the dermis — denatures collagen for immediate visible tightening, while activating fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin over 4–6 weeks. The same controlled heat drives serums deeper into the tissue. Targeted on cheeks, jawline and chin. A course for visible structural change; immediate lift after each.
Our most extensive facial. The full multi-technology protocol for normal-to-mature skin: hydradermabrasion vortex cleanse, ultrasonic vibrating blade at 28,000 Hz, nanoneedle mesotherapy with EMS and RF, focused ultrasound for collagen contraction, microelectric stimulation tuned to the face's bioelectrical frequency, oxygen bubble plus pressurised oxygen, and hot/cold thermal cycling. No single technology does all of this — the value is addressing every layer simultaneously rather than routing everything through one mechanism.
Our daily-driver facial for normal or dull skin. Hydradermabrasion's vortex cleanse loosens debris while infusing hydration; the 28,000 Hz ultrasonic blade dislodges surface debris and creates a transient window through the stratum corneum so actives reach the viable epidermis. Finished with thermal cycling for clarity, tighter pores, reduced redness.
An oxygen-led brightening facial for sensitive or dull skin. Pressurised oxygen bubble combines oxygenated water with active ingredients without aggressive exfoliation; pairs with hydradermabrasion's gentle vortex cleansing and a brightening thermal finish. Produces brightness that reflects actual cellular oxygenation rather than surface hydration alone — the lightest in our facial menu, good for first-time clients or skin reactive to deeper treatments.
Deep cleansing facial with manual extraction. Hydradermabrasion clears the pores genuinely, the ultrasonic vibrating blade dislodges sebum and debris through microscopic oscillation, then targeted manual extraction completes the work. Oxygen bubble and cold-phase thermal cycling close pores and dampen the inflammatory response. Built for congested skin in Bali's humidity.
Targeted facial for acne-prone, sensitive skin. Combines hydradermabrasion with nanoneedle mesotherapy whose photonic light attachment normalises sebaceous gland activity, plus the ultrasonic vibrating blade for sebum dislodgement and antibacterial-serum infusion past the stratum corneum. Cold-phase thermal cycling tightens pores and dampens inflammation. Most effective in a course of 3–4 over 6 weeks.
Polygel/acrylic gel built directly onto your natural nail for thickness, shape or apex sculpting — without tip extensions. Same disciplined prep as hard gel: fully dehydrated nail plate, careful cuticle work, controlled application. Removal by acetone soak-off, never peeled. Lasts 3–4 weeks.
A cross-linked polymer system applied to the natural nail and cured under UV/LED — no extensions, no tips. Photoinitiators trigger a chain reaction that bonds the polymer chains into a hard, flexible, durable film. Works only when the nail plate is fully dehydrated and primed first — non-negotiable in Bali, where humidity rarely drops below 70%. Removed by acetone soak-off. Lasts 3–4 weeks.
Length and apex built up beyond the natural free edge using tips or sculpted forms, then sealed under the cured polymer system. Sits in the same cured-polymer family as hard gel and acrylic — same dehydrated-plate prep, same disciplined acetone soak-off removal to protect the natural nail underneath. Lasts 3–4 weeks. Removal billed separately.
Indulge your hands and feet with a refreshing experience that begins with a soothing salt wash. Our service includes detailed cuticle care, followed by an exfoliating scrub to leave your skin feeling silky smooth. Experience ultimate relaxation as we finish off with a delightful massage and hydrating lotion. This exquisite treatment will rejuvenate your nails and elevate your senses, providing you with the care you deserve.
Quick natural-nail tidy — file, shape, cuticle care, buff, vitamin overlay. No polish. The maintenance-pace version of our classic for between full appointments. Same hygiene baseline: sterilised metal tools, single-use files, fresh disposable liners.
Add-ons for any manicure or pedicure: Nail Art, French (classic, floating, reverse, glitter-fade), chrome and mirror powders rubbed onto a tacky gel surface between layers (not as a topcoat), hand-painted detail in gel paint, foil transfers, and encapsulated elements (dried flowers, glitter, foil shards) sealed inside the gel. In Bali, flat techniques hold; raised 3D and heavy gems are vulnerable to lifting. Pricing and time vary by complexity.
Single-nail repair within an existing acrylic or hard gel set, matched to your existing colour and finish. Booked so you address lifting promptly — leaving lifted gel allows water ingress and the "greenies" problem (bacteria developing between gel and the lifted nail plate).
Proper acetone soak-off, typically with a foil wrap, to soften the cross-linked polymer before it's lifted gently with a wooden stick. Never peeled or pried — peeling tears off the upper nail plate with the gel and leaves nails thin, ridged, splitting. Gel polish, regular polish, hard gel set, or acrylic gel set. Always book this as a separate service before a new set.
Lash extensions applied one-by-one in your chosen volume style. Begins with mapping: zoning the eye into roughly five sections from inner to outer corner and assigning a length and curl to each. Classic uses one synthetic lash per natural lash; volume is hand-fanned (2–6 ultra-fine 0.05–0.07 mm lashes built into a fan); hybrid blends both for textured rather than uniform density; mega volume builds the largest fans for maximum density. Cyanoacrylate adhesive cured by ambient moisture — humidity actually helps. Book infill before week 4.
Refills extensions lost through the natural 60–90 day lash shedding cycle, restoring the set to full density before gaps appear. Best booked while roughly 30–40% of the original set has shed. Beyond four weeks we may recommend a fresh full set rather than infill.
A chemical reshape of your natural lash — same chemistry as a keratin smoothing treatment or a perm. Lifting solution breaks the disulphide bonds in the lash keratin, the lashes are moulded against a sized silicone shield to set the curl, and a neutralising solution reforms the bonds in the new upward position. No added material, no adhesive — just your lashes, lifted. Survives a surf session. Lasts 6–8 weeks.
Specialist gel/cream remover dissolves the cyanoacrylate bond at the base so each extension lifts cleanly off the natural lash — never pulled, picked or rubbed. Always booked as a standalone service before re-applying or as a clean removal. Required before a lash lift, because the lifting chemistry would damage synthetic extensions.
Lamination uses the same chemistry as a lash lift on the brow hairs: a lifting cream breaks the disulphide bonds in the keratin structure, the hairs are combed and held in a uniform upward-and-outward sweep, and a setting solution reforms the bonds in the new direction. Tint is applied straight after, deepening definition for fair or unevenly pigmented brows. Lasts 6–8 weeks. Keep dry for 24 hours.
Hand-shaped brows using waxing and tweezing. Wax for dense, coarse hair (efficient for volume), tweezing for the detail. We shape to reveal the structure underneath — what remains after a precise shaping is the brow your face was designed around, it was just obscured. Not about thinning. Recommended every 3–4 weeks.
Full back hard wax. Hard-wax formulation chosen for sensitive skin — adheres to the hair, not the skin, so removal is cleaner and less reactive. Recommended every 3–4 weeks.
Full chest hard wax. Same sensitive-skin formulation as our other body services. Recommended every 3–4 weeks.
Hard wax for half or full leg. Half leg is knee down or knee up. Lasts 3–4 weeks.
Hard wax for half or full arm. Half arm is elbow down or elbow up. Lasts 3–4 weeks.
Underarm hard wax. Hard-wax formulation adheres to the hair rather than the skin — cleaner pull, less reactive on a frequently-shaved area. Recommended every 3–4 weeks.
Hard wax for chin or cheeks, in our soft formulation chosen specifically for facial skin.
Nostril waxing with applicator. Quick, gentle, no nasal interior contact.
Brow shaping with hard wax — efficient for dense, coarse hair and less reactive than tweezing on sensitive skin. Includes consultation on shape.
Upper-lip hard wax in our sensitive-skin formulation. Brief consultation with our wax tech first to confirm timing relative to active skincare.
Brazilian waxing with hard wax for full or partial coverage — mini, full, or plus. Lasts 3–4 weeks. First-time clients welcome; we'll walk you through positioning and aftercare.
